Our sisal bags are natural and eco-friendly alternatives to synthetic bath sponges, they are made from the fibres of the Agave sisalana plant. Sisal is from renewable resources and it is a biodegradable fibre that is native to Mexico but is also cultivated in other parts of the world. The fibres are naturally coarser than jute, which makes them effective for exfoliating dead skin cells and promoting circulation when used and they are gentler than synthetic materials. They also have moderate absorbency, allowing them to lather well with soap. Sisal plants are drought-tolerant and require minimal irrigation, reducing the demand for water resources. Additionally, sisal cultivation can help prevent soil erosion and contribute to carbon sequestration.

Soak the sisal bag in warm water for 2-3 minutes to soften before use. Rub the pad on our natural soap and massage your skin gently moving it in circular motions. When finished, wash the bag thoroughly with warm water and hang it to dry. Change the pad every 3-6 months.
