Olivant Aleppo soap is a traditional handmade from olive oil and laurel oils. Produced using the oldest authentic methods, This Aleppo soap is enriched with pure olive oil and added 16% laurel oil, meaning it cleanses gently without drying your skin or hair and has unique extra anti-bacterial and anti-oxidant properties that can benefit problem skin. Laurel oil also gives it a natural spicy scent. Each bar is handmade with care. The finest natural ingredients are mixed, cut, and stamped before being left to dry naturally for 9 months. We don’t add any synthetic colouring agents or fragrances to this soap, making it perfect for sensitive skin. And because we care about our environment and our suppliers, you can be sure that Olivant Aleppo soap isn’t just good for you, but good for the Earth. Caution: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs rinse with water. Keep soap out of reach of children.

Sodium Olivate (Saponified olive oil), Sodium Laurus Nobilate (Saponified bay laurel oil), Aqua (water), Glycerin (naturally occurring), Sodium Chloride (table salt)

Apply soap to damp skin, gently massage skin with Olivant loofah and rinse thoroughly. Store your Aleppo soap somewhere clean and dry, do not allow to sit in water. Use one of our treated bamboo soap dishes to keep the soap dry.

Can I use Olivant Aleppo Soap to clean my body and face?
Yes, absolutely. Olivant Aleppo soap is primarily made from olive oil, and some varieties include a percentage of bay laurel oil. This gentle formulation is ideal for the skin, including sensitive or problem skin. It cleanses without drying, leaving your skin refreshed and moisturized.

Can I use Olivant Aleppo Soap for my hair?
Olivant Aleppo soap is not specifically formulated as a shampoo bar, so we do not recommend using it on hair, as it lacks the conditioning properties needed for hair care.

Why is the surface of the soap yellow to brown while the core is green?
We don’t add preservatives or antioxidants to our Aleppo soap. Because olive and laurel oils naturally oxidize, the surface of the soap darkens over time. This color change is normal and does not affect the quality or benefits of the soap.

Does this soap contain any added fragrance?
No synthetic fragrances are added to our Aleppo soap. The natural, pleasant scent you experience comes from the olive and laurel oils themselves.

How long does each bar last?
The lifespan of each bar depends on usage, but typically it can last for 30 to 60 showers.
