Our Jute bath pads are natural and eco-friendly alternatives to synthetic bath sponges, they are made from the fibres of the jute plant. Jute is renewable and biodegradable fibre that is primarily cultivated in tropical regions. The fibres are naturally coarse, which makes them effective for exfoliating dead skin cells and promoting circulation when used and they are gentler than synthetic materials. They also have moderate absorbency, allowing them to lather well with soap. The plant is a fast-growing crop that requires minimal water and pesticides for cultivation, making it a sustainable choice compared to some other natural fibres.


Jute (from the natural Jute plant) and cotton

Soak the Jute pad in warm water for 2-3 minutes to soften before use. Rub the pad on our natural soap and massage your skin gently moving it in circular motions. When finished, wash the pad thoroughly with warm water and hang it to dry. Change the pad every 3-6 months.
